THE HOUSE
Who We Are
A private clothing house rooted in stewardship, craftsmanship, and the belief that a wardrobe is built over time.
INTRODUCTION
A word from Christopher
Christopher Turner Couture began with a simple conviction: that a gentleman deserves more than clothing. He deserves a relationship. This is a private house rooted in the traditions of the American South — in its sense of occasion, its warmth of hospitality, and its deep respect for things made to last.
Based in South Carolina, the House is rooted in the traditions of Southern hospitality — in the belief that a gentleman deserves to be known before he is dressed, and that the most enduring wardrobes are built through relationships rather than transactions.
PHILOSOPHY
A different approach
We begin not with cloth samples or lapel widths, but with conversation. Before a single garment is discussed, we seek to understand the gentleman himself — his life, his obligations, his occasions, the places he goes and the man he wishes to present to the world. Only then does the work of clothing begin.
STEWARDSHIP
A wardrobe is built over time
The finest wardrobes are never assembled in a single season. They are cultivated — carefully, intentionally, over years of considered additions and thoughtful refinements. We approach each client relationship as a long-term stewardship: tracking what has been made, advising on what is needed next, and ensuring that every piece earns its place.
WARDROBE PLANNING
Clothing that serves a life
A wardrobe should be organized around how a gentleman actually lives. We plan across nine categories to ensure that no occasion finds him without the right garment.

HOW WE WORK
The relationship
We prefer to work with a limited number of gentlemen over many years. Through ongoing conversations, fittings, and observations, we develop an understanding of each gentleman's lifestyle, preferences, and evolving needs. The result is not a series of isolated commissions, but a wardrobe that develops with purpose and continuity.
Many of our clients remain with the House for years, allowing their wardrobes to evolve thoughtfully rather than being assembled all at once.
