1. Custom Nature of Services
Christopher Turner Couture specializes exclusively in bespoke menswear, defined as garments individually designed, measured, cut, and constructed to the specific requirements and measurements of each client. All garments are created as unique, one-of-a-kind pieces that cannot be resold to other customers.
2. No Refund Policy for Bespoke Garments
2.1 General Policy
Due to the custom nature of all Christopher Turner Couture garments, no refunds, returns, or exchanges are offered once production has commenced. This policy is disclosed to all clients prior to order confirmation and payment.
2.2 Legal Basis
Under South Carolina consumer protection law and federal regulations, custom-made goods ordered to personal specifications are exempt from standard return policies when the nature of the goods makes return impractical.
2.3 Client Acknowledgment
By placing an order, clients explicitly acknowledge and agree that all sales are final upon commencement of the bespoke creation process.
3. Quality Assurance & Remedies
3.1 Fit Guarantee
While refunds are not available, Christopher Turner Couture guarantees proper fit and construction quality for all bespoke garments according to the specifications agreed upon during consultation.
3.2 Alterations
If minor adjustments are required to achieve proper fit as originally specified, our atelier will perform necessary alterations at no additional charge within sixty (60) days of delivery.
3.3 Reconstruction
In cases where alterations cannot achieve the fit specifications agreed upon during consultation, Christopher Turner Couture reserves the right to reconstruct the garment using the same materials, provided such materials remain available.
3.4 Material Substitution
Should original materials become unavailable for reconstruction, clients will be offered comparable materials of equal or greater value from our curated collection at no additional cost.
4. Defect & Non-Conformance Policy
4.1 Manufacturing Defects
If a garment contains manufacturing defects or fails to conform to agreed specifications due to our error, Christopher Turner Couture will, at our sole discretion:

Repair the defect at no charge

Reconstruct the garment

Provide credit toward future services
4.2 Reporting Requirements
Defects or non-conformance issues must be reported in writing within thirty (30) days of delivery to be eligible for remedy.
5. Cancellation Policy
5.1 Pre-Production Cancellation
Orders may be cancelled with full refund only before cutting of materials begins. Once materials are cut or construction commences, no cancellation or refund is available.
5.2 Timeline Disclosure
Clients will be notified when production phases begin, including material cutting and construction commencement.
6. Payment Terms & Consumer Disclosures
6.1 Payment Schedule

Remaining 50% due upon completion

No refunds available once deposit is received and production begins
6.2 FTC Compliance
This policy complies with Federal Trade Commission guidelines for custom merchandise. Clients receive written disclosure of no-return policy prior to payment.
7. Dispute Resolution
7.1 Good Faith Resolution
Christopher Turner Couture commits to resolving any disputes through good faith negotiation and, when appropriate, remedial action as outlined in this policy.
7.2 Binding Arbitration
Any disputes not resolved through direct negotiation shall be settled through binding arbitration in Charleston County, South Carolina, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
8. Client Rights & Responsibilities
8.1 Client Obligations
Clients must:

Attend scheduled appointments

Communicate preferences clearly during consultation

Inspect garments upon delivery
8.2 Consumer Protection
This policy does not waive any consumer rights under South Carolina or federal law that cannot be legally waived.
9. Limitation of Liability
Christopher Turner Couture's liability is limited to the cost of the specific garment in question. We are not liable for consequential, incidental, or punitive damages.
10. Severability
If any provision of this policy is deemed unenforceable, the remainder shall continue in full force and effect.
11. Policy Updates
This policy may be updated with thirty (30) days written notice to existing clients. Updates will not affect orders already in progress.
By engaging Christopher Turner Couture services, clients acknowledge having read, understood, and agreed to this Refund & Alteration Policy.
This policy is designed to comply with South Carolina consumer protection statutes and federal regulations governing custom merchandise while preserving the bespoke nature of our craft.
